Overview
OANDA is a global online broker offering forex and CFD trading. To access trading, portfolio, deposits and settings you must sign in using your registered email and password. The process is simple but it’s important to follow security and troubleshooting steps if anything goes wrong.
How to sign in (Web)
- Open your web browser and go to the official OANDA website.
- Click the Log In or Sign In button at the top-right.
- Enter your registered email address and password, then click Sign in.
- If prompted, complete any two-factor authentication step (see 2FA below).

How to sign in (Mobile)
OANDA provides mobile apps for iOS and Android. The sign-in flow mirrors the web process:
- Install and open the OANDA app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Tap Sign In, enter your email and password.
- Approve 2FA requests if required.
Creating an account
If you haven’t registered yet, choose Create account (or similar) on the homepage. You’ll provide personal details, verify email and complete any verification steps required by your region (KYC). Keep your login credentials safe and record your account number for support calls.
Forgot password / Account recovery
If you can’t sign in:
- Use the Forgot password link on the sign-in page. Enter your registered email to receive a reset link.
- If you don’t see the email, check spam/junk folders and allow a few minutes for delivery.
- For account access issues or lost email access, contact OANDA support and be ready to verify identity (ID documents, previous transaction details).
Note: Password reset links are time-limited. Use them promptly and avoid sharing the link or OTP with anyone.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Enable 2FA to add an extra layer of security. OANDA supports authenticator apps (e.g., Google Authenticator) and may provide SMS options in some regions. After enabling 2FA you’ll need a code when logging in from a new device.
